Mine

차를 타고 다니면 극동방송을 자주 듣게 된다.
목사님들의 설교를 들을 때가 많은데, 듣다 보면 한숨이 나올 때가 많다. 그들을 비판하려는 것도 아니고 정죄하려는 것도 아니다. 그들에게 애정이 있다. 말씀을 균형있게 가르쳐서 좋은 영향력들을 주길 바란다. 이것은 나 자신에게도 무지 요구되는 것이다. 나 자신도 말씀대로 살기를 원하며 그렇게 살지 못하기에 항상 하나님께 눈물나도록 죄송스럽다.

한 목사님의 설교를 몇 번 들었는데, 이 분은 우리나라에서 강해설교를 가장 잘 하기로 유명하신 모 교회의 목사님이다. 최근 몇 번의 설교는 십일조와 관련된 것이었고 헌금과 관련된 것이었다.
십일조는 하나님의 것이다라고 성경에 기록되어 있으니 철저하게 지키라고 말하고 있다.

난 왜 사람들이 말씀을 균형있게 못 보는지 모르겠다.
하나님이 내 것이라고 말할 때 여러 가지가 있었다. 십일조도 있고 다른 것도 있다. 그런데, 다른 것의 비중이 훨씬 큰데, 십일조에 대한 부분이 하나님이 내것이라고 말한 가장 큰 것처럼 말씀을 곳곳에서 전하고 있는 것을 보면 한심스럽다.
하나님의 관심이 물질에 있었는가? 하나님의 관심은 언제나 인간에게 있었다. 창조때에도 인간을 위해 모든 자연을 만드시고 다스리라고 말씀하셨다.
노아의 홍수때도 인간이 잘못하여 창조의 모든 것도 같이 멸망당하였다.

아래는, 하나님이 내 것이다라고 말하면서 하신 것을 성경에서 찾은 것이다. 이 외에도 더 있다.

 

Mine이라고 나와 있는 곳

[Ex.13:2]Consecrate to me all the firstborn; whatever is the first to open the womb among the Israelites, of human beings and animals, is mine.

[Ex.19:5]Now therefore, if you obey my voice and keep my covenant, you shall be my treasured possession out of all the peoples. Indeed, the whole earth is mine,

[Ex.34:19]All that first opens the womb is mine, all your male livestock, the firstborn of cow and sheep.

[Lev.20:26]You shall be holy to me; for I the LORD am holy, and I have separated you from the other peoples to be mine.

[Lev.25:23]The land shall not be sold in perpetuity, for the land is mine; with me you are but aliens and tenants.

[Num.3:12]I hereby accept the Levites from among the Israelites as substitutes for all the firstborn that open the womb among the Israelites. The Levites shall be mine,

[Num.3:13]for all the firstborn are mine; when I killed all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, I consecrated for my own all the firstborn in Israel, both human and animal; they shall be mine. I am the LORD.

[Num.3:45]Accept the Levites as substitutes for all the firstborn among the Israelites, and the livestock of the Levites as substitutes for their livestock; and the Levites shall be mine. I am the LORD.

[Num.8:14]Thus you shall separate the Levites from among the other Israelites, and the Levites shall be mine.

하나님이 내 것이라고 말할 때 가장 빈도있게 말한 것은 사람이었다. 너희들은 내가 창조한 사람이다. 너희들은 나의 백성이다. 이 점이 가장 많이 말해지고 있다.
그리고 이 세상의 모든 것은 하나님의 것이다라고 말하면서, 너희가 가진 모든 것들도 내가 준 것이기 때문에, 너희는 나를 섬기라라고 말하고 있는 것이다.

인간은 하나님 없이 살고 자기가 가진 것이 다 자기 것이고 자신 존재 자체도 그냥 생겨난 존재라고 믿고 살기 쉽다.
그래서 하나님은 세상의 모든 것이 내가 만들었으니 나를 따르는 거룩한 백성이 되라고 말하고 있는 것이다.

즉, 무엇을 바치라는 의미보다 너희는 나의 백성임을 기억하라는 의미가 더 가까운 것이다. 우상을 섬기지 말라는 것이 가장 큰 의미였다. 십계명의 첫 계명처럼 말이다.
십일조가 가장 중요한 것이라면 왜 십계명에 십일조 내라는 이야기가 안 들어가 있는가?
십일조는 하나님 것이라고 십일조 바치라고 이야기하기 보다는 차라리 솔직하게 교회를 운영하는 데 있어 돈이 필요하다고 이야기고 가난한 사람을 위한 구제나 사역자들 사례에 필요하다고 이야기하는 것이 낫다고 본다.,
십일조 자체의 중요성을 이야기하기 보다는 우리의 존재 자체가 하나님께서 부터 나왔기 때문에 하나님께 구별된 백성이 되어 하나님을 따르라고 말하는 것이 성경이 말하는 본질적인 의미에 더 가까울 것이다.

이런 맥락에서 사역자는 교인들 하나 하나가 하나님의 소유임을 알고 두렵고 떨림으로 그들을 섬겨야 한다.
